"SUPPORTING AND ADVANCING THE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OF WOMEN AT AGG"

Mission
AGG’s Women’s Initiative works hand-in-hand with the Diversity Committee. Its mission is to support and advance the professional development of women attorneys at AGG. AGG’s Women’s Initiative works to achieve the following goals in support of its mission:

  • To promote the retention and advancement of women attorneys at AGG by teaching client development skills and helping women attorneys develop and/or expand their own client base;
  • To encourage women attorneys at AGG to seek leadership positions within the firm by exposing them to opportunities to develop firm leadership skills;
  • To teach women attorneys at AGG how to contribute to and benefit from the economic viability of the firm;
  • To enable all attorneys to become successful and contributing members of AGG while attaining a satisfactory balance between delete their legal careers and their personal aspirations.

Programs
The Women’s Initiative hosts quarterly functions to promote internal networking and teambuilding among the firm’s women attorneys, female summer associates, clients and the community. The firm supports and seeks to develop female leadership within the firm and to align itself with the firm's female clients by understanding and supporting their unique needs as professional women.
