Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys
On May 15, 2008, AGG hosted the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys (GABWA). The meeting was focused on educating the attendees about nutrition as part of an overall healthy, balanced lifestyle. Guests enjoyed a live chef’s demonstration and tasting of a signature menu.  

Women's Initiative Event: "Engendering the Courage to Lead"
AGG hosted its first annual Women's Initiative event at the end of October 2008 for its clients, attorneys and friends. The panel discussion, which focused on the topic "Engendering the Courage to Lead," included a vibrant discussion by the following panelists:

  • Patricia Falotico, IBM
  • Renée Lewis Glover, Atlanta Housing Authority
  • Dr. Jane E. Smith, Spelman College
  • Andrea Young, Southern Program Education Foundation

Women's Affordable Housing Reception
On February 2, 2009, AGG hosted a cocktail reception for members of the Women’s Affordable Housing Network (WAHN).  WAHN provides an opportunity for women in all aspects of Affordable Housing development to network and share experiences, best practices, discuss issues, achievements and opportunities within their market.



Romare Bearden Event Celebrating Black History Month
On Thursday, February 26, 2009, Arnall Golden Gregory, in partnership with Hammonds House Museum and in celebration of National Black History Month, hosted an exhibit and reception showcasing artwork by Romare Bearden. Bearden was a preeminent visual artist of the "Harlem Renaissance" and one of the great American artists of the 20th Century. Approximately 120 guests were in attendance at the event. Hammonds House Museum, located in Atlanta's historic West End, has loaned the Romare Bearden works to AGG for display through the end of April 2009.
